Botox Treatment for Wrinkle Reduction & Facial Shaping in Turkey
Botox is an injectable treatment that temporarily relaxes facial muscles to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. It contains botulinum toxin, which smooths dynamic wrinkles caused by repetitive facial expressions.
Botox is commonly used on the forehead, between the eyebrows, and around the eyes. It is also effective for reshaping facial features, managing excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis), and reducing migraine symptoms.
Main Uses of Botox:
1. Wrinkle Treatment
Botox softens dynamic lines caused by repeated muscle movement—like frown lines, forehead lines, and crow’s feet—resulting in a more youthful, relaxed expression.
2. Facial Shaping
Botox can lift the tail of the eyebrows, correct gummy smiles, and slim the lower face by relaxing the masseter muscles, creating a softer jawline.
3. Excessive Sweating (Hyperhidrosis)
Injected into sweat glands (like underarms or palms), Botox blocks nerve signals to reduce sweat production for up to 6 months.
4. Migraine Relief
Botox is injected into specific areas of the head and neck to reduce migraine frequency and severity. Treatment is typically repeated every 12 weeks.
How Botox is Applied:
Botox is injected into target muscles or skin with fine needles. The procedure is quick and nearly painless. Results begin within 3–4 days and fully develop in a week. Effects last about 4–6 months and can be repeated.
Aftercare:
- Avoid bending forward or lying down for 4 hours.
- Avoid heavy facial movements for 24 hours.
- Gentle face washing with cold or lukewarm water is recommended.
- Temporary bruising or swelling may occur but resolves quickly.
